Mr Calladine was appointed as the lead consultant ophthalmologist for the cornea and anterior segment surgery service at the Worcestershire Royal Hospital in 2013. Prior to this he trained in Oxford and London, where he gained advanced sub-specialty skills in complex cataract surgery, cornea, transplantation and external eye disease. Dan also underwent a senior clinical and research fellowship in Nottingham, again concentrating on diseases of the anterior segment with a key focus on ocular surface inflammation and dry eyes. Since 2016 he has been practiced privately in Birmingham and Worcestershire.
